The Lenoir Chandelier from Visual Comfort Studio draws from the architectural sensibility of 1930s French design, when purity and proportion became the new luxury. Designer Christiane Lemieux created an inverted bowl form suspended from linked chains, evoking the sculptural modernism of Jean Royère and the monolithic vessels of Claudine Boule. The name nods to chiaroscuro—the interplay of light and shadow, weight and levity. The aged iron exterior contrasts with a gilded interior that reflects light with warmth, and each piece is hand-finished for dimensional variation.
