Amazing solid bronze chandelier decorated with tassels, knots and ribbons. Its 12 slender arms with bobeches with beaded rim with realistic waxed bulb holders. This is a Louis XVI style chandelier, late 19th century. These neo classical decorations where typical of the Louis XVI style which refers to the Greek and Roman culture for inspiration. Amazing bronze casting of the highest quality, a maginificent piece of work with sharp details and showing a pleasant natural golden patina. The whole chandlier can be taken apart, when you lift up the knots you can see the screws. Also the tassels underneath the chandelier can be screwed of for easy transport. Only this small piece weights 2.3 kilo. The total weight of this bronze chandelier is 10 kilo. Size: 100 cm high ( from ceiling canopy till the tassels), 70 cm diam.
