Pendant lamp model “ls10 grappolo” designed by luigi caccia dominioni for the azucena company in 1967. the pendant lamp consists of three lights with lamp holders in metallic grey aluminium, hook and chain in burnished iron, while the diffusers are globes in transparent blown murano glass. The three-ball (bowl) version uses a balance wheel and a chain system that transforms a structural necessity into an extremely classy ornamental detail. The shape of the inverted "funnel" lamp holder is designed to fit perfectly with the curve of the glass sphere. Caccia dominioni said his lamps had to "furnish even when turned off." the ls10 is proof of this: its stage presence is given by the purity of the lines and the quality of the materials, even before the light itself.
