Bring French elegance and sculptural character to a breakfast room, dining room, foyer, wine cellar, or powder room with this striking antique-style chandelier. Crafted in France circa 1960, the Mid Century fixture is made of hand-forged wrought iron in the Louis XV taste and features a graceful eight-light form with beautifully scrolled arms and an open cage frame. The chandelier has a rich verdigris patinated finish accented with gilt foliate decorations and delicate gilt scrolling vine motifs. The shaped arms curve outward from a deep central bowl and terminate in scalloped candle cups fitted with faux wax-drip candle sleeves. The upper frame is crowned with a decorative gilt leaf finial and suspended from its original chain, giving the piece an elegant and balanced silhouette. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and accommodates eight candelabra-base lights. It is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with light surface wear and patina consistent with its vintage character. Dimensions: 29” Diameter × 27.5” H
