Modernist Handblown White & Translucent Murano Glass Feather Chandelier

This stunning Modernist feather chandelier was handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. Realized in the manner of Vistosi, the chandelier offers seven tiers of handblown Murano glass crystal created in a gently curved concave form. The petals or feathers of this chandelier are formed of bowed translucent glass with organic opaque white interiors embedded within. The shades attach to a polished chrome frame, and are suspended from the ceiling via a chain and canopy of the same material. With its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
