This exceptional and rare chandelier was produced by Edvard Hagman in the mid-1950s. The model was numbered 745 and is documented in the Norrköping/Edvard Hagman catalogue from 1956. The striking design features six curved arms in finely reeded brass and matching brass shade holders. The arms are mounted to the fluted central column sleeve using two decorative ball-shaped fittings per arm. The chandelier includes a tubular central stem and a brass canopy. The bulbous glass shades are made of opaline glass, each finished with a distinctive cut-out crown edge. The fixture remains in completely original condition, with wear consistent with age and use. The brass has developed a natural patina over time, which can be polished away if a shinier appearance is preferred. The specified catalogue reference with thanks to Mr. E.
