The Sound Chandelier by Masiero was inspired by brass instruments and the trumpet. Captivated by the way material and shape influenced their sound, designer Giovanni Battista Gianola has created a captivating, dynamic source of illumination. Effortlessly suspended by a set of cables for an airy look, a set of wide, metal bands create beautiful shades for the artfully placed, decorative glass diffusers set within them. Reminiscent of the open feel found in the bell-shaped end of a trumpet that creates enough space for music to escape, these shades allow plenty of light to spill out onto their surroundings.
