A set of four substantial swedish chandeliers from the 1970s, designed by holger johansson for westal. Each piece combines stained pine, brass and cylindrical acrylic shades in a clean, architectural composition. The dark-stained wooden core adds warmth and contrast, while the brass stem provides a refined vertical accent. Each shade conceals two light sources—one uplight and one downlight—creating a balanced illumination that softly diffuses through the acrylic while also casting light upward. This dual-light construction gives the chandeliers both presence and atmosphere, making them well suited for larger dining or living spaces. Condition: very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age. Fully functional. Wiring: all our lamps are wired for eu standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for us standards. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
