Two Serge Roche attributed cast and painted plaster clamshell chandeliers, from France and dating back to the 1950s. Each chandelier is a stunning example of mid-century design, reflecting Roche’s mastery in creating sculptural lighting pieces. These chandeliers are offered individually. Each chandelier is made from cast plaster, weighing over 25 pounds, and features a meticulously modeled clam shell design. The shell itself measures 6 inches in height, 22 inches in width, and 14 inches in depth, making it a substantial and sculptural work. The chandelier has a 16-inch drop and comes with 40 inches of chain, which has been replaced. Additionally, the chandelier has been rewired and is fitted to accommodate one standard US bulb, providing a soft ambient light.
