Super glamorous chandelier that recalls the smoky clubs of the 70s in Rome such as Gilda or Piper, and Rome is in fact the city where they were produced and where they come from. The production of this vintage chandelier is in fact attributable to the historic lighting brand Sciolari. This chandelier has an elegant brass structure, composed of two pieces: the first is the central one that supports 3 lamp holders and hides another central one that is not clearly visible in the photo as it is without a light bulb. The second piece is fixed to the upper part of the first and draws 6 semicircles to which 6 ground smoked glass discs are fixed, using threaded brass screws. In the lower part, another 3 brass inserts support another 3 discs that complete the design of the chandelier. The chandelier is in working order and has recently been completely re-wired by a professional. The brass frame shows minimal signs of wear and a beautiful patina of age. The smoked glass discs are intact, with minimal imperfections near the hole where the brass threaded screw is inserted. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
