A fine antique bench made Chippendale style mahogany highboy, c. 1890 - 1900. The highboy is beautifully made using 18th century constructional technique with finely cut dove tails and crisply carved shells, legs and feet. The piece is made from solid mahogany and retains a fine patina with rich color. Condition is excellent with no restoration. It is a highly successful form. Circa: 1900.
