Small Louis XVI-style mahogany chest of drawers topped with green Estours marble with a groove and opening with six drawers. The drawers have a recessed front inlaid with molded brass strips. These form a frame surrounding the Louis XVI-style drop handles on each of the drawers. They also have a working lock with a threaded entry. On each side, the uprights are inlaid with three wide flutes trimmed with brass. This piece has a low crossbar with brass molding at the top and rests on two front spindle legs with brass collars at the top. ******** Period: Mid-20th century Excellent condition. Waxed finish.
