Born in Croatia to an Irish mother and Montenegrin father, Stefan Krivokapic lives in Milan. Stafan has collaborated with several Italian design studios, working on projects ranging from packaging to furniture, lighting, electronics and exhibition stands for various Italian companies. In 2011, he founded the industrial design consultancy studio “Skrivo”, which specializes in industrial design for the furniture and lighting sectors, working with both Italian and European manufacturers. The projects always try to take into account the available production methods, and at the same time take special consideration of the materials used, through a constant search for new materials, to create innovative products that achieve a balance between function and aesthetics. Stefan's designs have been published in various design magazines in Europe and Asia. Stefan has also received a large number of prestigious awards, including: Elle Decor Croatia Best Furniture Designer (2010), New Office Designer Award (2009), Gold Award (Samsung Young Design Award 2007).
