This collection of plaids is woven with manual loom, following designs created by Elena Sanguankeo for Moroso, and it originates from a very precise concept: to give a modern take to traditional ways of crafting textiles.‎ In this sense all mendings, patchworks, selvages, embroideries and floating threads used on these throws, embody this principle and concept.‎The collection could only be dedicated to women.‎ Every plaid has the name of a woman who have been of strong influence on the designer, both on a human and professional level.‎Given the artisanal manufacturing of the collection, slight variation in color, pattern and little imperfections in the weave are to be considered as normal and do not represent a defect.‎
