ABOUT Early 20th c. leather club chair with charming mustache top, riveted back, wooden feet, brown piping and rounded armrests. All original sheep hide leather and stuffed with horse hair. Beautifully aged leather with plenty of character. CREATOR Unknown. Possibly made in France. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1930-1940. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Sheep Skin Leather. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Generally seats of this age can be broken down but this seat quite firm. Cracks in the leather on front panel, front seat panel. front right side armrest and small blemish inside right armrest. All leather is that is cracked is staple. Wood worm exit holes lower front panel which is indicator of age in furniture. Corners of piping back rest slightly loose. Left arm slightly loose. DIMENSIONS H 32 in. W 36 in. D 37 in.
