The “Big Adam” chair model is from the Paradise Collection from the Triva Series, which was created in 1958 by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist during her time as a designer at Nordiska Kompaniet. The name is inspired by “Paradiset” – the Swedish name for Eden. This pair of Mid-Century lounge chairs are small in scale to fit a narrow space or the foot of a bed. The curved back has a small tufted detail. The light Maple legs add a contrast and a casualness about the chair. Bought from reputable Swedish antique dealer. No makers mark due to reupholstery.
