Comfortable club chair with curved armrests made of lacquered wood. The understated design stylishly complements a modern lounge atmosphere. The armrests and legs show signs of wear. The upholstery and padding have been renewed. Jindřich Halabalas was a Czech furniture designer and university professor. His work stands as a link between the innovative Czech Cubism from 1910 onwards, the Art Deco of the early 1920s, and the European Mid-Century Modern after the Second World War. His most successful designs reflect the design language of the Bauhaus.
