This beautiful handcrafted Victorian octagonal occasional table boasts many exquisite features from the 19th century period. The tilt top table displays a striking mahogany patination, with a lovely curved edged octagonal tabletop. Underneath the tabletop are two turnable locks to prevent the table from moving. Leading down the table has three turned legs, connected by a lower base. The base has three lower square curved feet to finish. This is a striking occasional table that would add a period character many living room, hallway or dining room settings, perfect for holding your glasses, a vase of flowers or simply as a decorative display items. Overall this octagonal occasional table is in great solid antique condition, with signs of historical use, veneer wear and scratch marks to the wood, as to be expected from years of age (see photographs).
