This small, round designer coffee table/side table is a rare post-modern vintage piece from the Italian luxury furniture brand/manufacturer Cattelan Italia – designed in the 1980s by Vico Magistretti. *It impresses with its timelessly modern and elegant design, which is emphasized by the thick marble base in marbled black, the beautifully rounded foot frame/supporting column in chrome-plated silver, and the thick glass top. * Furthermore, the piece impresses with its very high quality, both in terms of workmanship and materials, and is extremely representative. DIMENSIONS Diameter of glass top: 50 cm * Diameter of marble base: 32 cm * Height: 59 cm * Height to glass top: 51 cm CONDITION The piece is in beautiful, above-average vintage condition and has been very well maintained. Upon closer inspection, however, a few minor, typical traces of a vintage object are naturally found. + These are a few small surface scratches on the glass (see last photo above). + The chrome-plated metal frame shows the usual age-related signs of wear and tear of a metal object, such as minor surface scratches and a few isolated chips on the chrome. + The marble base has minor surface scratches and very few, very few, tiny dents. \. However, all of these marks are only noticeable upon very close inspection and are not serious. There is no serious damage to the glass, marble, or metal\. + The object has recently been treated and carefully cleaned by us. + The pictures are part of the and offer; they show the general condition and the most significant flaws. We therefore ask you to take a close look at the pictures above. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
