This iconic pedestal coffee table, model 5452, was designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in the 1950s. It’s perfect coffee table height, or equally could be used as a side table for a lamp, plant etc. It’s lower than other versions currently on the market, measuring just 41.5cm in height! The table has a really nice chamfered plywood edge with a white mica laminate top, and a Herman Miller label to the underside. The base is powder coated steel and aluminium, and the four splayed feet retain their nylon glides. The top is in very good condition, with just two tiny nibbles to the edge as shown in the images. The powder coating is also in very good condition. Bought from the home of a deceased Herman Miller employee. 41.5cm H x 72.5cm W.
