Rare and unusual, mid-century black lacquer bench with 2 inset terrazzo panels. Attributed to Harvey Probber - no visible labels. Asian inspired legs in black lacquer with brass fittings at the feet. In original condition (see images). The terrazzo is lovely. It has an ivory field with specs of pale orange, peach, light gray and black. Could be used as a bench or long cocktail table.
