Vintage Teak Reading Table From Opal, 1960s

Chairish

$595

A beautiful, organically shaped magazine table, crafted from veneered, solid teak. This rare design was produced by the german company opal in the 1960s and, thanks to professional renovation, is in near-new condition. This multifunctional table can be used in a variety of ways within the home. From a compact coffee table to a side table, from a magazine stand to a tv stand – the design is both practical and stylish. The table stands on four organically shaped, solid teak legs, slightly angled under the top. The top is subtly elliptical, giving the whole a playful and airy character. A second shelf beneath the top is ideal for storing magazines or lps. The table has been carefully renovated by us. Old layers of maintenance have been removed, the wood has been completely hand-sanded, and re-treated with a high-quality matte furniture oil. This beautifully highlights the warm color of the teak, making the piece immediately ready for use. With your purchase, we include a bottle of maintenance oil to keep the table in optimal condition. This piece has an attribution mark, i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
