Teak Hans Olsen coffee table designed for Viskadalens Möbelindustri, Sweden, 1960s. This rare round table has beautiful tapered hairpin legs and a loose top that also allows it to be used as a serving tray. Hans Olsen (1919-1992) was a Danish furniture designer famous for his experiments with bent and laminated wood, which he applied here in the top. The table is marked Made in Sweden, Viskadalens Möbelindustri, Kinna, Design: Hans Olsen. The condition is still good; the frame has some minor signs of use, no circles in the top (see photos). Material: teak wood, teak veneer. Dimensions: h x d = 43 x 62 x 62 cm. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
