1960s Barcelona Coffee Table By Mies Van Der Rohe For Knoll And Gratz Industries

This is an original Barcelona Coffee Table, initially designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1929. These vintage examples date to the 1960s and were produced by Gratz Industries (formerly Treitel Gratz) for Knoll, acquired directly from the private archival collection of Gratz. The listed price includes one table, and we have two available for purchase. We were fortunate to acquire these important unmarked pieces directly from Gratz, having been thoughtfully stored for decades. The bases are comprised of hand-polished steel and have developed a nice patina over the years. We can have these pieces professionally re-polished if so desired. Each table measures 40 inches deep and wide and is 17 inches tall. The metal frames measure 38 inches in depth and width, and they are 16.25 inches tall sans glass. There is patina to the steel, and the glass is in excellent condition with no signs of use. Overall, these pieces are in good condition with light wear from storage. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost.
