The coffee table base is a postmodern sculptural style piece with strong 1970s–1980s influences. With Brass cylindrical forms – The repeated polished brass tubes are very reminiscent of late 70s glam and Italian modern design. The sculptural base serves as a focal point and would function beautifully with a glass top. I purchased this antique item (from Chairish!) and did not use it as the scope of the project changed. This is a stunning piece!
