The rectangular glass top is set within a brass frame and supported by a bold architectural base incorporating clear acrylic glass scroll-form supports and a lower glass tier. The combination of polished brass and transparent acrylic glass creates a glamorous, light-reflecting aesthetic synonymous with the Hollywood Regency style. The layered construction and sculptural side elements give the piece both visual drama and refined elegance, making it an ideal centrepiece for a sophisticated interior. While unmarked, the design is reminiscent of Italian makers working in the manner of Romeo Rega, whose work frequently combined brass, glass and acrylic glass in bold geometric compositions during the 1970s and 1980s.
