The Golem table is designed in a shape inspired by organisms in their amorphous state when they seamlessly blend into their surroundings.The fiberglass reinforced resin texture used to create the table recalls the biomorphic design era. The distinct combination of the smooth top surface with the porous underlayer resembles amphibians’ breathing skin. This table is constructed by hand from a carved MDF solid core that is covered with a bronze volcanic color resin layer. The stain, scratch, and water-resistant resin is seamlessly molded to create a 3D sculptural piece.
