This is an antique Chinese bamboo low table dating to the late 19th - early 20th century. Traditional Ming Style pieces feature stained bamboo frames with intricate geometric fretwork aprons and an elm top, which in this case has been painted black. There is a split the length of the top that does not affect the structure or function.
