Antique French Empire coffee table in mahogany feather with black Belgian marble top. The marble top is supported by a band under the top which includes two drawers and is embellished by the presence of finely chiseled gilded bronze friezes. The columns entirely in mahogany are surmounted by expertly chiseled Corinthian capitals in gilded bronze and end with bronze bases. A mixtilinear band acts as a connecting element between the columns and is enhanced by the presence of a beautiful bronze cup from the same period as the rest. Provenance: 19th century France.
