An unusual antique California Monterey Catalina tile topped walnut coffee/side table, circa 1930. A wonderful walnut table inlaid with brightly glazed tiles from the Catalina Tile Company and dating to the late 1920s. The brightly glazed frieze of six tiles portrays the 18th Century Venetian philanderer and adventurer Casanova, the masked lothario is outstretching his arm to a beautiful young lady in 18th century dress. The table has just been professionally polished in Bloomsbury's workshops with a mellow waxed honey-colored finish, the table having lyre shaped end and is joined with a single stretcher. The table and tiles are both in excellent condition, the table is robust and stable and ready to grace your home.
