Vintage early 1960's coffee table made by well known master woodworker Arthur Espenet Carpenter, consisting of a solid Guatemalan white mahogany plank supported by a bent rod iron X base with hammered ends to form the feet. Inscribed signature with production number and the words "prima vera" designating the type of wood on underside, along with the words "Madera de Guatemala" in stamped lettering. Table has been authenticated by Tripp Carpenter, Arthur's son.
