Bauhaus style coffee table with a modernist design. The structure of the furniture is made of bent, chromed steel tubes. Glass top, smoky color. The table is characterized by a synthetic form based on the shapes of geometric figures and straight lines. The visible striving to reduce the structural elements and the simplification of the form consisting in rationalizing the structure and decorative elements are features derived from the assumptions of the Bauhaus, which later formed the basis of modernism. Furniture made of bent steel pipes is classics, and at the same time examples of modern and revolutionary design. This type of furniture is presented in many museums, for example at the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany.
