Modular Brutalist coffee table designed by the Dutch artist Paul Kingma in the 1970s. The artist used a variety of materials that he collected throughout his life and travels, such as coins and various pieces of metal and bronze embedded in mosaics of natural stone, including schist. The table stands on a rectangular schist base. The height of the top is adjustable (from 48cm to 64cm, see photos), and it can also be dismantled for easy transport. This rare table is signed "Design Kingma" (see photo) and is in very good condition.
