This brutalist coffee table, made of slate/natural stone and delicate brass elements, dates from the 1970s and perfectly reflects the transition from the Mid-Century to the Space Age era. The table is unsigned but closely resembles the creations of Paul Kingma. The base is also clad in slate/natural stone. Very good condition. The tabletop is 6 cm thick. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
