A rare 1970s cast bronze coffee table attributed to Valenti, Barcelona. The sculptural twin bases are rendered in richly patinated bronze—textural and primal, as if excavated from ancient terrain. Each form is defined by jagged voids and molten edges, a study in tension between brutalist ethos and organic erosion. Above, a ½” thick rectangular glass top appears to float. Valenti is a historic design house based in Barcelona, founded in 1798 as a silversmith workshop. Today, it stands as a leading company in the luxury home décor sector, with a deep tradition and artisanal roots. In the 1970s and 1980s, Valenti's design language embraced a brutalist and organic style, creating statement pieces that balanced mass, texture, and luxurious materials. Their craftsmanship was meticulous, often featuring hand-finished surfaces and forms inspired by nature, geology, and ancient symbolism. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The cast bronze bases display a rich, varied patina consistent with age. A new ½” thick custom glass top was fabricated to complete the piece. Additional Dimensions: Base: 18"W x 10"D x 15"H
