Stunning sculptural coffee table designed by Gio Ponti in the 1950s for Domus Nova Italy. This beautifully shaped coffee table was originally designed for the Milan concept store ‘La Rinascente’. The table is made of walnut and it still has its original glass top. The beautiful pattern on the lower level of the table is made from a square graphical inlay. The table is in very good original condition. Only some light scratches on the glass top. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
