This Coffee Table by Roger Capron well known as "Garrigue" Coffee Table. The garrigue tiles were an innovation of Mr. Capron, made by pressing plants native to Southern France into the wet clay, then loading them into the kiln, whereby the plants burn away, leaving a beautifully detailed charred imprint.
