This extendable drop-leaf coffee table was designed by Børge Mogensen for the Danish manufacture Fredericia Stolefabrik during the 1960s. Cataloge number 5362. The table was finished of teak with a warm, brown color. Teak wood is very durable, it comes from four types of teak trees. The high content of oily substances means that practically no water soaks into it. Due to the side wings, the table can be unfolded up to 160 cm wide, when the basic width is 80 cm. This is an example of Scandinavian functionalism. The part of paper label confirming the originality is located under the table top. The table is in original vintage condition. It has minor scratches related to age and use. The colors of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colors.
