Pilotis Low Table was inspired by ‘chabudai’, a short-legged table commonly found in Japanese homes. As well as drawing influence from the aesthetic elements of the ‘chabudai’, Malgorzata was also influenced by the ceremonial and multifunctional nature of the table, often the centerpiece which family life revolves around. Taking this essence andcombining it with elements of the traditional Western coffee table, Malgorzata has designed a piece of note, accommodating and impressive in equal measures.
