From early 1900’s time period comes this amazing large Asian trunk/ chest on black lacquer stand. This is a lightweight, but sizable trunk commanding attention in any setting. It retains it’s original paper lining and hardware. The scene on top depicts some type of ceremony or social gathering. It is in great condition. Would be an awesome addition to a chinoiserie style room. Has two separate stands underneath.
