An English farmhouse work table/drapery table from the 19th century, recently shortened for use as a coffee table to bring the warmth & welcome of honest patina into a living area. Handmade from oak in lovely grain patterns and color blending with dark patina from time & use, the upper planks are arranged as a breadboard with perpendicular boards framing the short sides. A low shelf just above the floor is a convenient opportunity for additional storage and display surface that is open and accessible from all sides. This handsome coffee table has been gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to maintain the historic character. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery and message us with any questions.
