Fumi coffee table, designed by Japanese designer Isamu Kenmochi in the 1960s and produced by Tendo Mokko. This table stands out for its two sculpted side legs supporting a thick rectangular top, all made of Keyaki wood. Designed with simplicity and balance in mind, it perfectly illustrates the formal language developed by Isamu Kenmochi within the Japanese modernist movement. Originally intended for traditional interiors, it was used in the rooms of the Atami Garden Hotel and is also known as the "Japanese-style desk." Its low height and open structure make it a functional piece that can be adapted to different uses. Provenance: Hotel in Kanagawa, Japan Edition: Tendo Mokko, circa 1965.
