The base is handmade in Denmark from solid oak or American walnut, oil-treated to highlight the natural grain and ensure lasting durability. First created in 1960 for the American market, the design has been faithfully reintroduced by Lange Production, preserving the original proportions and detailing conceived by Grete Jalk.
