A hand made work of art by NJ wood worker John Braun. This large organic modern amoeba shaped coffee table is made from the salvaged base of a maple tree from the artist's own backyard. The lengthy process includes months of drying the wood and expert sanding to a fine finish. The artistically resin filled fissures and copper inlay add interest to the top as well as the inlay "bowtie" . A final oil coat of Rudio Monocoat comes after months of work. Marvelous burl like grain pattern and color variation and legs that are sculpturally shaped and also finished. ( If preference is for a lower cocktail table, Braun can shorten the legs.)
