Thirty-two hand carved stone chess pieces and a group of wood cribbage pegs fit neatly inside the solid staved wood treasure chest. The little box is also hand made and has a metal latch to hold it shut. The natural, rustic piece looks different depending on your viewing angle. The irregular tree stump base varies in form on all sides. This is a custom made table. You won’t find another like it anywhere! The artist signed and dated the bottom of the box. Checkers can also be played on this board, however checkers pieces are not included. This table could also be used as an end table or coffee table with game pieces stored away.
