This most unique 1960s tripod wood table base.is incredible. Geometric. I absolutely love this piece. We are offering it without the glass. You can select any shape glass to complement this base which appears to be an engineering feat with its diamond-shaped center. The base is a series of fitted pieces of ebonized wood reminiscent of Pearsall or Martin Visser--but different. It is in very good vintage condition. There is one mark on a side of the leg, but the joints of this piece are sturdy, and in the photos, the large piece of beveled glass that it supports is heavy. The glass is not original. The table has six legs. It measures 17 inches tall and 27 inches wide from the tip of one leg to the other. It is surprisingly light wood, but it was engineered to support a larger piece of glass.
