La Mesa is a collectible design coffee table by Tellurico Design Studio, part of the Ollain Collection. Entirely handcrafted in Italy, it reflects the studio’s ongoing research into the dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. The piece is developed through a layered application of S.C.M. (Special Composite Material), a proprietary blend created in-house, inspired by historical stucco techniques and reinterpreted in a contemporary key.Each table is individually shaped by hand, resulting in a sculptural volume defined by texture, depth, and material presence. The slow, additive process highlights the expressive qualities of the material, where subtle irregularities become part of its identity. Functional yet sculptural, La Mesa stands as a bold design object with a refined architectural presence.Exhibited internationally, including Side Gallery (Barcelona), Galleria 6mas1 (Madrid), Casavels Gallery, and Spazio Leone (London), the piece belongs to a broader collectible design research. Customisation is available, and bespoke commissions—including consoles, side tables, and larger sculptural works—can be developed in close collaboration upon request.
