1990's brutalist French patinated metal coffee table by French artist Jean-Jacques Argueyrolles (1954-). Cast iron, welded bronze and gold leaf detailing. Geometric shapes adorn the legs and the tabletop surface. Heavy substantial piece. This sculptural table has a rectangular tabletop with four iron legs and lower shelf. It has painted gold accents and features geometric details signature to Argueyrolles’ iconic style. Jean-Jacques Argueyrolles was born in 1954 near Paris. He works in bronze, stone, iron and wood and designs furniture lines (minimalist-baroque) while creating sculptures and monumental sculptures. He considers Dali, Tapiès and Moore as his art masters.
