After the Danish modern boom came the designs of Jørgen Gammelgaard. A furniture professor and an exponent of minimalism, he specialized in stainless steel and natural materials. Gammelgaard took more than a decade refining the JG Coffee Table (1973), reissued by Fredericia from its archives. Eschewing legs, its bent aluminum base holds the round glass tabletop low in the room, interplaying lines and curves, solid and light. Made in Denmark.
