Inspired by the Roman Colosseum, this occasional table is completely fashioned in hand-formed ceramic. Conceived by Valencia€™s Yonoh design studio, Kolos is first shaped in a plaster mold and then craftsmen fire the clay structure. Although smooth to the touch, the materiality is evident in the way the corners absorb less color while the pigments are concentrated and darker in the rounded areas. Available in 2 models with either matte or a glazed finish, the table makes a heroically apt impression.
